The Chemex Classic is a pour-over coffee method that can be paired with Chemex unique bonded paper filters. These filters offer superior filtration compared to other filter papers. The result is a coffee with a bright flavour and light body.

- During the first 20 seconds pour 60g and allow the coffee to bloom for 45 seconds.
- In the next 20 seconds pour another 60g and allow the coffee to draw through till 1 minute 30 seconds
- In the next 20s pour 120g up to 240g and allow the coffee to draw down until 2 minutes 15 seconds.
- Pour the remaining weight of 120g up to the target weight of 360g
